In Love With a Real Mermaid

Greetings from Belgium.

A track I finished recently, inspired by the 2008 remake of Tangerine Dream's 'Love On a Real Train'.

Created in the box with Propellerhead Reason 7.1.
I have no monitors, no speakers, only headphones. Also I do not have a midi keyboard.
So this has all been manually edited in the sequencer, and produced and mixed with headphones.
All sounds except drums are built from the ground up.

Cool I am impressed you programed all that in just think what you could do if you had a Keyboard Controller, I mix in headphones also. Your mix sounds ok but could use a little tweaking in the separation of elements to really help pop all the elements and give them all a more defined space in the mix. Check the links out in my signature if you have not already.

You mean tweak the pan settings and stereo width...yep I would've thought that. Usually the case.
Gonna check it out. Thanks :)

Yeah, the lack of a keyboard has forced me to become somewhat used to the manual sequencing. More work, but the result can be similar.

So you're on cans too. What's the most challenging about it for you ? I'm still having difficulties with stereo field and reverb/delay amounts, stuff like that...on monitors I guess the result would be way better. I just don't have a decent way to check my mixes...
