"Can't load song, One or more files that are required seem to be missing" PLEASE HELP

Hello everybody! I have created many compositions on reason 5 and i saved all of them under the "self contain samples when loading from disk" option. After saving my rns. files of my compositions on my external hard drive, I formatted my laptop because of some viruses. Now that i setup reason back on my formatted laptop, whenever i try to open any of my rns. files that i saved on my external hard drive, i keep getting this message:
"Can't load song, One or more files that are required seem to be missing"
I am posting a screenshot of the message below...

I don't know what to do. Could somebody be kind enough to help me out with this problem please?

Best regards,
Sebastian

It was hard to read cause the image seems to be low resolution. But as far as i can see, it looks like Reason hasn't been installed properly or the installation is corrupt (damaged or missing files).

If you are missing samples/ refills, reason will show u a different window as far as i can remeber; it lets you look/ browse for the files or "open without"

thank you for responding my Osmose! yes indeed the image is in low resolution. I apologize about that.
You are right about the missing samples/files. When there are missing samples/files Reason comes up with a different message where it gives me the choice to locate them myself. But this is a different situation as you said. So, i should re-install reason i guess and see what happens?

how did the reinstall go?

Thank you for your interest vocoderboy! The re-installation was successful!!I just had to restart the laptop and install reason again. BUT THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN PARTIALLY SOLVED!!! In order for me to open any rns. file, reason presents me with a series of similar messages such as this one:
"Please insert the disk containing the Refill "Dance Mega drums 2 Refill"

I press "cancel" to all these messages and then let reason automatically locate the refills for me. However i have to go through the same procedure each time i try to open an rns. file. Even if i save the rns. file after it opens, I STILL get presented with the same series of messages when i try to open it again later.

I am posting (unfortunately a low resolution) screenshot of one of a series of similar messages i keep getting when i try to open up any rns. file...Στιγμιότυπο οθόν&#951.jpg
Is there a way to circumvent this hassle? I thank you in advance for your help and interest in my problem my friend.

sorry man even tho you self contained you have to go thru all this finding samples because reason in this case is long.

i dont think that reason "self contains" ReFills, when enabling the "self contain" setting. It does so with samples, but not with ReFills, you gotta manually add them to the "self containt" list.

But for a short route: change the drive letter of the drive were youre refills (and maybe other stuff like samples) has the same drive letter :)E/ :F what ever) as were they were previously stored? That'll fix all of them instantly.

If not, dont press "cancel". click browse folder --> then select the folder/ drive were youre refills are stored in stead of letting Reason browse trough your entire machine.

I've got some stuff upcoming (ep) dunno the release date yet since the label is kinda busy, but I'll be happy to share it with any one here by then.
In the mean time, you can check our sc pages like vcboy mentioned ;) , mine isn't really up to date though
