When I started with Reason 8 I was sold the wrong midi keyboard Yamaha DX 61. It is programmed for Cakewalk, Cubase, Presonius and a few others but not Reason. We managed to get it working properly by playing with the settings in Preferences (no its not in the drop down list). That's all we did, we didn't fiddle with the keyboard itself.
My computer power supply died suddenly and was too expensive to repair for a 4 year old computer. I bought a new one but I couldn't check the midi controller settings before the old one died. I'm not sure how we did it and who helped me.
If I cant get it working can you please recommend midi controllers/keyboards that Reason can currently detect so I don't waste more time with an unsuitable one.
