I find that when i am recording audio in Reason that If I get some unwanted Noise i.e. string noise on a guitar that when i try to edit that noise out Reason will not allow me to because of the sequencer. If I use other DAW's I dont have this problem. Are there any answers to this?

What version of Reason are you using?

You can just select the Razor Tool and make a cut right before the unwanted Noise and then shorted the Clip and remove it. Zoom in on the clip to see it better.

Matt that doesn't work . Ive tried it. I have to delete everything within the beat in the sequencer. In other DAW's you can highhighlight and Mute that one little Noise.

to what division of time are your seq tools set?
if you set your division to 1/64 you should be able to edit out things like string noise with a quick fade or cut.
remember to set your division back to a reasonable amount or moving clips will be long.

in the seq window under or next to the button that says snap is a drop down menu that lets you change the value between a bar and 1/64 you can then use this with the razor tool to cut the offending parts out.

Voc is right plus you can turn off the Snap to grid by pressing the S Key and this allow you to cut up the clip anywhere you want to.
