Hi, I am new here. So happy to discover this forum! I have been using Reason for one year now. I am more of an arranger, songwriter, drummer, I love producing music but focus more on arrangement rather than mixing. My main goal now is to learn how to use Reason with other programs, such as NI, for example. I just tried out NI Battery 4 and set my Roland KV drums as a MIDI controller and I can do so much with it!! But I cannot figure out whether I could use it with Reason 8.

Hi Iryna, I have noticed that Reason doesn't seem to have any Roland controllers built in. I was hoping it would recognize my JP-8000 but no dice.

You should still be able to use it you will just need to now the midi cc for it. I did a small search and found this.
