Ignition key driver installation failed

Hello
I was hoping someone might be able to help me out a bit. I have recently had to do a clean reboot to my Windows 8.1. I had my Reason/Record 1.5 on an external hard drive. After the reboot I am getting the error msg
"Ignition key driver installation failed - Could not install or update the drivers for the ignition key. Please uninstall the old drivers and try again or contact customer care."

I updated the drivers to 2.8 but I am still getting the same msg. I also contacted customer care but they have yet to respond. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Matt

If it helps anyone it seems codemeter was unable to install due to either my Avast or Mcafee firefall as I momentarily turned both of them off and was able to install codemeter thus allowing my ignition key to work

Mm seems i'd missed you post. Nice that you managed to fix it though.
But, avast should promt when blocking something, if it didn't; i reckon mcafee was the issue
