Posting a song with some info on how it was done -as inspiration on sc "tricks" Any questions on the "hows" we are happy to answer
So I am working with an Indian fellow. We talked about Hinduism and I got interested. The idea of different ages where Kali Yuga (the age of the daemon) is one of them. It is a nonspiritual age of ignorance, sin and short life span.Hindus believe that human civilization degenerates spiritually during the Kali Yuga. In it people are as far away as possible from God. According to Hindus it is the age we are living in now. I guess u can understand why they think so..
Also.. was thinking a bit about death at that time. Kali is the death Goddess. I mixed the age and death thinking (Kali Yuga has nothing to do with Kali Goddess) a bit and came up with this song
Got some Indian loops (Bollywood) and the Sitar nation refill. Then I downloaded a real recording from youtube of a Kali mantra done in India. I was running the mantra on one channel and on another channel I run it through Parsec.
The drums were from start a DR rex loop but made a Kong take of it for variations. Then added with some rex indial loops. I used a wav rain forest going on in the background and put a heartbeat in NNXT.
The spoken words are text to speech and an ole Hindu vers:
"Neither mother
nor children
nor kinsmen
nor dear familiar friends
follow a man in death
He departs alone.
The deeds alone which he has done are his fellow-travelers"
In other words u go alone..
We got some remarks on "too much usage of autotune" but actually dont use autotune.. Birgittas voice sounds like that
