Panorama Sticky Knobs - Faders - Mod Wheels

My Nektar Panorama P6 is a great keyboard controller for Reason and other Digital Audio Workstations but there is a problem with them it is the Encoders and Mod Wheels have this rubber on them and after time this rubber starts to get sticky. This is not a good thing and you will find some of that rubber can get on your hands. I got tired of dealing with this and thought if I could just change out the Knobs, Faders, and Mod Wheels my P6 would be good as new.

In looking into this I found it was very possible to do, there are tons of places that sell encoders and I started searching. I ended up finding some plastic Encoders and getting them. I thought while I was doing this I would upgrade my Panorama P6 with some colored Encoders to help me find the Encoder I need easier. I choose Red and Black Encoders with no line on top of the Knobs because they speed indefinitely in either direction. For the Faders, I wanted a white line on them, and then for the Master Fader, I went with a darker red and black line. This really helps out finding the Econders and looks awesome.

Next, I had to figure out how to get the rubber off the Mod Wheels. It would mean taking the Panorama P6 apart, not hard though.

I have made a .PDF guide to help you do all this with links to the websites I got the Encoders and how I went about removing the rubber from the Panorama P6 Mod Wheels.

You can find this guide in the
Free Stuff Forum for our Reason User+ members.

If you have any questions please post them in this forum and I will help you out the best I can.

You must be a Reason+ user to see the FreeStuff forum.

I purchased the Reason + upgrade just to get this pdf and can't seem to find in in the Free Stuff Forum when I click on the link above.

Same here - I also need to replace some parts and it would be helpful to identify appropriate knobs/faders (and mod wheel if at all possible), but it seems that the post in the Free Stuff forum must have been deleted. Does anyone still have these details that can repost them?
