Hi,

being new in this amazing forum, let me introduce myself with this music clip. The song was all made with REASON 8. The mastering was made by a professional mastering studio in Berlin. For those, who don't understand german, the song is about brainless people… the most common form of nowadays' plague :)

Hi Der-Axiomator, welcome. I'm new here too.

This form of plague is in Germany as well?

Nice laid back trip/hip hop stylee tune. Great bass. Lots of reverb on (your?) vocals, but i'm guessing that's how you wanted it. Good work man. And love the video as well.

it does have that really central european sound. nice bit of vocoding too.
i think it needs more kraftwerk samples (i'm kidding).

Hi Runcell, yes same plague as everywhere :)
Thanks for the positive feedback. Yes, i like reverb as much as possible on my vocals. Also delay, to get a bit of Dub flavour.

Hi vocoderboy :),
thanks for the feedback. I love vocoder sounds since i heard and seen Kraftwerk in my younger days. (Long time ago.... LOL )
For robot voices i´ve used also the Roland VT3 and the Rack Extension ST-1. The ST-1 is fantastic for synthetic voices. It´s very similar to the old Atari ST Speech program. But ST-1 is made for english words and for german words i tweacked a lot.
Happy vocoding ....

Welcome! I edited your post to show you that you can embed the youtube videos in your posts. Please check out our Help Forum where there are tutorials to show you how to do this and others things, this will make our forum more enjoyable for you and others.

I watched your video and love the creative video editing. It was cool to listen to a song in a language I do not understand but I could still here the harmonies and like the arrangements. Thanks for sharing
