I've been using Reason since version 3 and I've continued to upgrade every time the Propellerhead wind blows! I started using Reason for a creation tool in the neo-prog genre (Marillion, Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, etc.) but somehow turned into a huge Trent Reznor fan. I don't know how I fell to the dark side except to say, they had cookies. Anyhow, the last few years, I have begun to attempt using Reason 8 for film scores and ambient "new-age" music (Kitaro, Tangerine Dream, Shadowfax, etc.), as I slowly move from the "live performance stage" into the "indie film industry". I know...all over the map, right? Well, I have moved from just creating music with Reason to mixing my eclectic library of musical...umm...stuff? with the myriad tutorials available regarding the awesomeness that is the SSL mixer. Try as I might, I'm just not very good at getting the mixes quite right. I promise I'll do my best to search the threads for what ever knowledge I can find to help me in my Reason 8 mixing debauchery but bear with me if I miss things while I rtfm. All that being said, thank you in advance for any help I obtain as a result of joining the forum.
